Tham & Videgård is the winner of the invited interntational competition for two new office buildings in Solna, Sweden. The project is commissioned by Humlegården Properties, and will contain approximately 25 000 sqm of office spaces and commercial facilities.
Tham & Videgårds proposal is recommended by the jury to go ahead! The scheme creates a new assembly of buildings to bring together the entire Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts: the Valand Academy, the HDK-School of Design and Crafts, and the HSM-Academy of Music and Drama. The site is next to one of Gothenburgs most central places, Götaplatsen, and will through its strategic urban location further strengthen the capacity of the art faculties to interact with current events in society and within the city.
