Mies van der Rohe Award
Kalmar Museum of Art shortlisted for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture, the Mies van der Rohe Award 2009. As one of the shorlisted (44/ XX) projects Kalmar Museum of Art is included in the new 2009 Catalogue and ongoing touring exhibition.
New School of Architecture
The New School of Architecture at the Royal Institute of Technology is granted planning permission by Stockholm City municipality. Start of construction works planned for 2011.

Västra kajen housing
Västra kajen: T&V wins the invited competition after prequalification to design new housing for Vätterhem and Riksbyggen on the waterfront of lake Munksjön. Starting with a low energy, long-term sustainable perspective, this project set out to create attractive housing on one of the best sites in Jönköping.
Kasper Salin Award!
Kalmar Museum of Art awarded the Kasper Salin Award for best new architecture in Sweden 2008 by the Swedish Association of Architects.

Crossing: Dialogues for Emergency Architecture
Crossing: Dialogues for Emergency Architecture exhibition at the National Art Museum of China (NAMOC).
Twelve international practices including T&V, Shigeru Ban, Rintala Eggertsson, Obra, Productora and Sou Fujimoto participate in this project that set out to develop new strategies addressing the need of temporary structures following natural disasters.

E.ON Powerplant at Åbyverket, Örebro: T&V invited after international prequalification to design the new buildings to house a sixth boiler. In collaboration with the danish team of Kasper Danielsen.
Best Wooden Building Award
Archipelago House nominated for Best Wooden Building in Sweden 2008 by the Swedish Forest Industries Federation’s architects jury.
Ordos 100
Ordos 100: T&V participate on recommendation by Swiss architects Herzog&deMeuron in this project where one-hundred international practices, also including Swedish Testbedstudio, build 100 houses in a new cultural park in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia. The process is curated by Chinese artist Ai Weiwei who also worked with H&dM on the design of the Olympic Stadium in Beijing 2008.
