Bergman Center

T&V invited to propose design for the Bergman Center Foundation on Fårö Island. The purpose of the BCF is to manage and develop the artistic legacy of the Swedish film director Ingmar Bergman. Situated close to Fårö Church, where Ingmar Bergman is buried, the new premises will be the hub of the Bergman Center’s public activities, including a permanent exhibition, cinema, audio listening room, library, shop, café and a cinematographic park. It will also be the base for the annual Bergman Week.

Campeche – Mexico

T&V start planning as lead architects for a regional development project in the Mayan region of the Yucatan peninsula, Mexico. The PPP-project is initiated by the Municipality of Campeche in collaboration with Maastricht University (NL) and includes a convention centre as well as other educational and recreational facilities. The project will also address and co-ordinate infrastructure in the Campeche region.

shortlisted for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture, the Mies van der Rohe Award 2009. As one of the shorlisted (44/ XX) projects Kalmar Museum of Art is included in the new 2009 Catalogue and ongoing touring exhibition.

New School of Architecture

The New School of Architecture at the Royal Institute of Technology is granted planning permission by Stockholm City municipality. Start of construction works planned for 2011.

Victoria & Albert Museum

T&V invited to participate in the Architecture 2010 exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. The exhibition will consist of a series of built spaces exploring specific architectural and social typologies, and will open in June next year.

T&V to design the new temporary exhibition spaces and ateliers for the Swedish museum of Architecture museum at Skeppsholmen in Stockholm.

Västra kajen housing

Västra kajen: T&V wins the invited competition after prequalification to design new housing for Vätterhem and Riksbyggen on the waterfront of lake Munksjön. Starting with a low energy, long-term sustainable perspective, this project set out to create attractive housing on one of the best sites in Jönköping.

Kalmar Museum of Art awarded the Kasper Salin Award for best new architecture in Sweden 2008 by the Swedish Association of Architects.

Crossing: Dialogues for Emergency Architecture

Crossing: Dialogues for Emergency Architecture exhibition at the National Art Museum of China (NAMOC).
Twelve international practices including T&V, Shigeru Ban, Rintala Eggertsson, Obra, Productora and Sou Fujimoto participate in this project that set out to develop new strategies addressing the need of temporary structures following natural disasters.
