T&V to exhibit as part of the New Nordic – Identity & Architecture exhibition at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. The exhibition in 2012 is about a concept or phenomenon that is arousing renewed global interest – the idea of the distinctively Nordic. Nordic stock is high at present, from politics and welfare to cuisine and design, and the year’s exhibition offers a take on what the Nordic actually is – and what such ideas mean for our societal and cultural development.

Tham & Videgård’s work included in LIVING – Frontiers of Architecture III and IV.
The Louisiana’s exhibition series Frontiers of Architecture I-IV, which the museum has been showing in the years 2007-2011, uses architecture’s deployment of other disciplines to illustrate the new movements and paths that are shifting the frontiers of architecture. With its overall theme LIVING, the last exhibition in the series, combining nos. III and IV and filling half the total exhibition space of the museum, turns the spotlight on the question “How does the Good Life look today?”

Exhibition at the National Art Museum of China (NAMOC) in Beijing 2009.
Twelve international practices including T&V, Shigeru Ban, Rintala Eggertsson, Obra, Productora and Sou Fujimoto participated in this project which set out to develop new strategies to address the need of temporary structures following natural disasters.
T&V propose a view on Emergency Architecture that is inspired by the potential transformation of a temporary camp into a future urban environment. The idea is to integrate public spaces with an urban strategy so that the result is operative from day one and can also function as a guide, encouraging successive development over time.
